Flint native Apostle Clarence L. Lewis founded NBM in 1993. Not too many years prior, he found and married Barbara A. Lewis, also of Flint. As the Lord enlarged their spiritual territory, He blessed their family and now today they're the doting parents and grandparents of two children and two grandchildren.

Shéron and Jon'Tise have served at NBM for more than a decade in the areas of music, technology, media, and creative arts. They met at NBM in 1999 and married in 2013. They are busy parents to one highly energetic youngster.

Earlexus Dixon is a straightforward leader who is currently pursuing a master's degree in education through UM-Flint's prestigious MAC Program. "Shining my light so others can shine theirs!" is the motto by which she lives.
